The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, administers a health care delivery system for over 50 rural communities in the Yukon–Kuskokwim Delta in southwest Alaska. The YKHC is accredited by the Joint Commission.
The YKHC system consists of a primary facility in Bethel and five regional clinics in aniak, in emmonak, Hooper Bay, St. Marys and Toksook Bay. This system offers inpatient treatment in a hospital Betel nut, primary care, specialised services, pediatric care, emergency services for mental health counseling and treatment, dentistry and dental clinics, home care, specialized programs for people living with diabetes, when quitting tobacco, and many events / educational programs to promote a healthy lifestyle.
In addition, the community health aide program Chapter provides village-based primary health care in 47 village clinics in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, including acute, chronic and emergency care, disease prevention, health promotion and disease prevention activities to individuals, families and communities.
